Society of Feline Gardeners- Thursday in the Garden with Jonesie

::Meowwww::

Welcome back to my garden!  I'm counting my furry blessings since we had glorious weather this past weekend.  There was so much work to be done...and I was not getting much help from anyone except my daddy.   As you saw on Tuesday, Figaro just wasted away the day having fun and adventures.  Did he help at all?  No!

I spent a good bit of time just assessing everything that needs to be done this spring.  It's important to take it all in and make a plan before diving into the work.

I made sure I patrolled every inch of the garden and counted every weed.  I lost count after about the eleventybillionth one.

I did make sure that I took a few moments to sniff the spring air.  It smelled so wonderful.

The grape hyacinth is blooming.

Madison came outside for a little bit and he took a drink out of the kitty birdbath.  I think he wanted birdies to show up, but they never did.

Our very special Trillium plants are blooming.  These are so special that we put little fences around them to keep Grete woofie's paws away from them.

The  nip still tastes fabulous and grows bigger every week.

I'll leave you with a picture of a daffodil, yellow and happy!  I will purr for more sunshine this weekend.

Pee Ess...I've been keeping busy with things non-garden related.  I may even have a clue to answer the question of Who is it behind those Foster Grants!

Mancat on Monday with his Woofie

My woofie Grete needed me this weekend.  She was ill and couldn't keep down any food or water.  I was worried sick.  Mom and dad took her to the emergency v-e-t...because you know whenever any of us gets sick, it's always at night or on the weekend.   Once Grete got some medication she started to feel lots better.  I stayed with her on the couch to keep her company.

I let her admire my toesies...

 More toesies...

And my nosie!

When we were done with our afternoon nap, we gathered around for the premiere of Episode 2 of the Real Housecats of the Blogosphere!

I'm very proud of my work and hope you have as much fun watching it as all us kitties did pawticipating.  Casting calls are going on now for the next show so if you think you got the stuff, be sure to submit your photos!!!

Tabby Tattletale Tuesday

Ginger, where have you been?  I've missed you!

Whoa Madison, you won't believe what's been going on behind the scenes at The Real Housecats of the Blogosphere!  I mean, when I signed on to be the gossip columnist, I thought "cool"!!!   But really, what cat would trust me with any good information...everyone knows I'm a tattletale...I can't keep anything to myself.  But then...there are cats there from all around the world...they don't know me.

Hah!

So...anyway, I act all cool and stuff and pretty soon the fur is flying!  Did you know that there is a cat there who calls herself Sphynx Queen!?  Kite is her name...oh I mean "Kee-tay"...::rolls eyes::

Oh and that's not the half of it...seems that our brother Figaro is a bit mesmerized by her.  He seems to want to share his excess fur to keep her warm.

Oh and that's not all...she claims to be from ::cough:: Outer Space!

I have it on good authority...(our sister Bennette) that Kite is really from Las Vegas.  See, Bennette's boyfurriend Sylvester, from the Katnip Lounge, lived at the vet for quite some time waiting for a forever home.  While he waited, he saw lots of cats come and go...and he knows "FOR A FACT" Kite came in to be treated for an "undisclosed illness"...hmmmmm....she apparently had a show at an off the strip casino.

Oh wow Ginger!  Tell me more!!!  This is terribly exciting!

Well, maybe...but you gotta promise not to tell ANYONE!!!!  I've already told you too much.

Uh oh, here comes Figgy...act casual!

Huh...did I hear my name?
