Society of Feline Gardeners- Thursday in the Garden with Jonesie

::purrrrr::

I know you expected me to be out in the garden this week.  Trouble is, it's been wet and icky and worst of all, it's dark outside.  When mom leaves for work it's a little bit light, but when she gets home it's dark.  I suppose I could teleport over to visit my furriends on the other side of the world, but mom and dad would miss me too much so here I sit.   By the fire.

Mom surprised me the other day when she said there was mail addressed to me!  I couldn't figure out who would send me something, but then I remembered that Raymond and Busby were going to send me seeds from Sunflowerzilla!

Cory was shocked!  I think she was disappointed that Raymond and Busby sent me mail and there was no letter to Cory from Whitey.  She pouted.  She wouldn't even look at the seeds.

My head was spinning.  All I could do was think about my very own Sunflowerzilla.  I was thinking about the Society of Feline Gardeners and sharing seeds and planting ideas and Cat-a-logs and....and...then I remembered the note that my bestest friend in the whole world, Alfie Marshall (age 2) sent me.

So we copied words from Alfie and Milo's bloggie:

"Every year at the eleventh hour on the eleventh day of the eleventh month we remember the end of the First World War and all who gave their lives then and since.

The Royal British Legion is the nation’s custodian of Remembrance, ensuring that people remember those who have given their lives for the freedom we enjoy today. The poppy has become the symbol of Remembrance worn during the weeks leading to Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day"

The poppies are no longer in bloom in my garden, but I have a picture to remember.

Please leave a link and let me know what's happening in your garden (or in your living room!).
