Bert & Ernie's New Bowl
bert and i got this new bowl for our foodses. i'm sitting inside and posing so you can see my pretty, pretty furs. i am a spotted agouti gerbil, so this makes white spots in my coats, and it also makes my furs a lighter color. do you think i am pretty, even though i am a boy? i has long fingernailz!
i am trying to figure out how to use this new bowl. the side seems very high...
oh, i see! you supposed to eat from the lower side. bert is waiting his turn in line.
okay, bert, you can belly up to the foods. don't eat everything all up!
i'll go chew up some cardboards until it is my turn to eat some more. my favorite treats are raisins. and pumpkin seeds. and dried mealworms. and brockli. and bananners.
Box O' Bits
it is bert and ernie here again! we want to show you our special new present... a Box O' Bits! it has a cardboard box to chew all up and hay and treats inside!
hey bert, look what we got! ::clap, clap, clap::
ernie, sniff the holes in the box and see what is inside there!
nom, nom, nom... we are eating the treats we got out from the Box O' Bits.
all that is left is some hay and scraps of cardboard.

We Love Cardboards!
ohai! it is me, ernie! i am just having a snack. do you like to chew stuff up? i do! especially cardboards. ps, do you see my puffy tail?
i could chew on stuff for hours... and i do! here is a real good piece of cardboard.
bert wants to chew some stuff up, too. okay bert, you can join me.

here is a movie you can see starring me chewing my cardboard. i am so strong, i got lifted off the ground. bert stoled my cardboard in the end though. bad, bad bert.
Bert & Ernie's New Home
Bert and Ernie just got a new home! It is a 17 gallon frameless aquarium, so they have more room to run and play and have fun.
They both like to burrow. This stuff is called Carefresh Ultra litter. They cannot use our cat litter. I do not know why!

Here I am meeting my brand new buddies for the first time. Can you guess what they are?
Gerbils! Meet Bert and Ernie. They are just about 2 months old. They don't eat good foods, just nuts and grains and boring stuff like that. Oh and they like to chew on sticks. 
Ernie is more active than Bert. He is already running and running on his fancy wheel.
Bert is black, but he has little white gloves and a white bib. I guess he is a tuxedo gerbil! He is a little bit friendlier so far, and already climbs into my Mommeh's palm.
I think Ernie wants to be a circus gerbil! I like the puff at the end of his tail.
Harley got to meet Bert and Ernie, too. Harley was only a little bit skerred. We are only allowed to watch Bert and Ernie inside the cage, on account of we might accidentally get too rough with them.
