new cat behavior

This is a super long overdue Cat's Creation post. The dress has been sitting in my box for quite long. Just couldn't find time to take pictures & post them up. :p

1. Coffee Date Dress

Cat Purr: Fell in love with this pattern when I first saw it. Gorgeous ruffles panel on a sleeveless fitted bodice, attached to a A-line skirt. This is a trial piece and hence, the size is really really small, like it can only fit small UK4 & below and the not-so-good finishing (zipper part at the back of the dress). The fabric is not of that good quality but i really love the print & how it turns out on the dress. But if you don't mind all that, you can still get it at RM38 :). Mail me if you're interested! Oh, this can be made into a dual-tone dress as well, the top & skirt in different colour, ie. floral printed top with black bottom. It should look great too. ;)

PS008: Can be made into bigger sizes in other fabric choices. The gingham fabric is no longer available.. :(

2. Rose Clutch: RM20

Cat Purr: Vintage rose print fabric! So prettyyy can die ok. Only got like less than 1m of this fabric and thought why not make it into a clutch. Nice? Pleated at the back & the front, finished with a vintage looking button. Since I am lazy to make button hole, :p i used velcro strip instead. Again, the finishing is not great, so, not for fussy buyer. :)

It feels so nice hearing my sewing machine churning. :p Don't you think the stripes print fabric in skyblue shades is absolutely, totally, unconventionally lovely? Initially I was thinking of making it into a dress but ended up making it into a ra ra skirt & used the remaining fabric for the tube top.

1. The Ra Ra La Di Da: RM40 SOLD OUT

Cat Purr: One day, I walked into Topshop & saw this lovely ra ra miniskirt in fuschia & i fell in love with it. Got kinda inspired by it & thought, "Hey, why not make a skirt like this myself?" and voila! Yes, my version is more sweet & cute & feminine as compared to the edgy one in Topshop. :p I made the waistband thicker & added lace trimming at the top. The skirt is quite small, so, it's suitable for waist size 22 to 24inch. The material is not stretchable. 2 buttons & zipper closure at the back of the skirt. The zipper might not be perfectly sewn (haven't master the skill of sewing zipper) but it's decently done.

2. My Sweetheart: RM35 SOLD OUT

Cat Purr: This tube top has made her debut in our last post. :) Ruched design at the bust. Finished with an adorable blue button. Gathered lace trimming. This is the first smocked item i have sewn. So glad it turns out ok. I wished I had more material to make the bottom part more puffy, well, this looks good as well. Now, I am thinking of this altering this pattern into a dress! What do you think? :p
